Reorder for $3,800. I made this Platinum Dimaond Ring for a Purplish Red Garnet 5.89Ct set with European cut Diamonds and set in 95% Platinum that is engraved by hand. A natural Ruby this size with papers will cost about $30,000-$40,000. There are Garnets that have the Gemmy Red look of a Ruby without the price. This type of Garnet is not easy to find. In fact I recently had one that both the Gem Lab director and I thought had a 50-50 chance of being a no heat Ruby. It had a silk in it that looked like Ruby inclusions. The refractive index test showed it was a Garnet. I ended up Gia certifying the Stone and gave it as a gift to my Sister.
