My friend had this loose 16.40ct Australian Opal on matrix with Blue and Green play of color and He asked me to design a Pendant around it for His Daughter. All of the stones were examined by the Gem Lab. I chose a .94ct Sri Lankan Deep Blue heated Heart Shape Sapphire and surrounded the 2 stones with gradually increasing sizes of 3.43cts of grass green Zambia, Africa diamond cut Emeralds set in Platinum. The back of the piece has a Platinum LOVING HEART. Then an 18k Rose Gold Staff and an 18k Green Gold Rod with an 18k Yellow Gold Cross of CHRIST in the center of all there is a .06ct old Mogok mine Burma Red natural unheated Ruby with 14 D-F color Vvs1-Vs2 Diamonds. There are 2 reflecting hearts in 18k Rose Gold. The total Opal on matrix and Precious Gem and Diamond weight of the piece is approximately 21.26ctw. The total weight of the Pendant including the Platinum Chain is 1.11 troy ounces.
